The demands for the molding compounds for the electrical and electronic components are very diverse. Panasonic Corporation provides wide variety of molding compounds including phenol, unsaturated polyester, urea, melamine, PBT and PP, which can meet various needs of the customers, such as arc resistance, tracking resistance, mechanical strength, inflammability, and superior appearance. Further more, we are prepared to conduct material development from the component design phase.

Superior appearance, high gloss, good boiling resistance, tribological wear resistance, high arc resistance, and high impact resistance

Super Flexible Thermosettiong Molding Compound
Super Flexible Thermosettiong Molding Compound [ MEWLUS ]
Characteristics:
- Thermal curing resin with superior tenacity (high tenacity thermal curing resin molding material)
- Superior soldering heat resistance, flammability, arc resistance and tracking resistance, compared with thermo-plastics
- Higher insert crack resistance than thermo-setting resin. It has a dimensional stability of a half to one-third, shock resistance of twice, and deflection in bending of 1.5 times of our melamine and phenol products.
Applications:
For coil bobbin, terminal block, magnet switch, power switch, relay casing, breaker, etc.
PBT Molding Compounds

Characteristics:
Improved tracking resistance, out gas resistance, light resistance, flame retardancy, thermal stability Superior flowability and fabrication performance in molding characteristics

- Heat resistance, light discoloration resistance, copper inhibition
- Superior weight reduction benefit thanks to low density
