Information you need to know before using the software (Essential reading)
About AETOOL
AETOOL (hereinafter referred to as this software) is designed to set to a LightPix AE20.
* Can't be used for LightPix AE10.
Version-Up Information (Ver.1.51 to Ver.1.52)
- Correction of the errors of HELP file.
- Correction of the error that an inspection time delays when input the start command while auto save has been set to "ON".
Version-Up Information (Ver.1.50 to Ver.1.51)
- Addition of HELP file.
- Correction of the error that failed to startup AETOOL caused by installing PVWIN.
Version-Up Information (Ver.1.40 to Ver.1.50)
- Added the function that switches inspection image to a binary image (only for applications of edge, vertex, measurement, and Feature.
- Modified to allow saving the setting manually when Auto save is set to OFF.
- Modified to start an inspection automatically after running a test in Judgement criteria window when external trigger is set.
- The folder that the program is to be installed is changed from [Panasonic MEW Vision] to [Panasonic-EW Vision].
Version-Up Information (Ver.1.30 to Ver.1.40)
- Windows Vista is supported.
- Addition of a function that specifies a range of product types to execute inspections in Color Judgm.
- Correction of error in displaying a captured image in Gray Pattern Matching.

- We added the 'Feature Extraction Application'
- We added the 'Gray Patter Matching Application'
Version-Up Information (Ver.1.20 to Ver.1.21)
- We modified a bug that always returns with '<' the head character of MEWTOCOL.
- Regarding "Grounding the Main Unit", we modified the manual of AE20.
Version-Up Information (Ver.1.11 to Ver.1.20)
- We supported the mode that the Input Signals Type uses as the Initial type.
- We supported selecting from Japanese or English, German the use language in install.
- We modified the case that couldn't search the peak in Peak Application.

- We modified the case that can't search the template in Color Matching.

This software is freeware. The copyright for this software is held by Panasonic Industrial Devices SUNX Co., Ltd. By using this software it is assumed that you agree to "Conditions of Use" presented below.
- If you are already LightPix AE20 users now, upload the settings of the LightPix AE20 as a file before executing System Transfer, because the LightPix AE20 initializes the settings when executing System Transfer.After completing System Transfer, download the stored file to the LightPix AE20.To upload and download the settings of the LightPix AE20, select [LightPix->File] or [LightPix<-File] from [File] menu of AETOOL.
- Do not connect a USB cable right after installing AETOOL. Connect a USB cable by following the procedure of [USB Driver Installation Instructions].If you connect a USB cable first and the PC memorizes the error status, you cannot install USB driver and connect to LightPix AE20 until you cancel the error. Refer to "USB Driver Installation Instructions" for how to cancel the error.

How to Install
1.Click on the title of the file name (listed below) that you want to download and indicate the download destination.
*When you already have indicated the download destination, the file will be downloaded automatically.

2.When the download is finished, double-click the file to begin the installation process.
- Please install the USB driver before executing AETOOL after installing.
- Read the descriptions on the installation of a USB driver and follow the instruction for your OS to install.
- When selecting "Panasonic-EW Vision" > "LightPix AE20" from the Windows(R) start menu, you see "About USB driver" on the monitor.
3.After completing the installation, reboot the computer.
