About Terminal GTWIN Ver.2.F21 difference file

The Terminal GTWIN Ver.2.F21 difference file is used to upgrade Terminal GTWIN Ver.2.0 or later to Ver.2.F21. This file does not work on its own.

To install this software, Terminal GTWIN Ver.2.0 or later must already be installed.
Users who are using Terminal GTWIN Ver.1 should obtain the upgrade version.

Make sure that the computer on which you intend to run the software meets the minimum specifications listed below.

Recommended system RAM 128MB or more

PC's specifications

The above usable environment is minimum requirements. Use a PC of higher specifications than that recommended by each OS.

Please carefully review the contents of the Software License Agreement included in the installer and proceed with the installation only if you agree to its terms.

How to Install

1.Click on the title of the file name (listed below) that you want to download and indicate the download destination.

*When you already have indicated the download destination, the file will be downloaded automatically.

2.When the download is finished, double-click the file to begin the installation process.

 

3.Installation is performed.

  • When the message, ''Cannot install, because GTWIN is already exist on this computer. Uninstall it and try again'', is not appeared, proceed to the step5.
  • When the message, ''Cannot install, because GTWIN is already exist on this computer. Uninstall it and try again'', is appeared. Uninstall the Terminal GTWIN in the "addition and deletion of application" in the control panel.
    (If you perform uninstallation without following the installation procedure (step2), version upgrade cannot be performed. So please be sure to follow the installation procedure.)
 

4.Double-click the file to begin the installation process.

 

5.After completing the installation, reboot the computer.

When you connect the computer and the GT with USB cable, please install the USB driver.

1. Go to "Device Manager", select "Panasonic GT" and right click "Update Driver Software".

2. Select "Browse my computer for driver software".

3. Select the folder where "GTWIN_USB" is stored. Default location will be "C:\Program Files\Panasonic-ID SUNX Terminal\GTWIN\GTWIN_USB".

4. The USB driver install will start. Follow the screen prompts displayed by the installation program.

 

Precautions and restrictions after upgrade

Data migration of registered user parts library

When upgrading GTWIN Ver2.C11 or older, the installation destination folder is changed to "Panasonic-ID SUNX Terminal".The parts library registered with the previous version of GTWIN cannot be used in the initial state after installation.Copy the "***.UPL" file to the folder currently used(*) from the previous storage location.

The folder currently used can be confirmed by choosing "File" > "Configuration" > "GTWIN Configuration" > "Drive" > "Parts Library".
(The default is "C:\program files\panasonic-id sunx terminal\gtwin\stp".)

Do not copy the "***.SPL" file. If if is copied, you may not be able to use the standard parts library.

Data migration of bitmap library

When upgrading GTWIN Ver2.C11 or older, the installation destination folder is changed to "Panasonic-ID SUNX Terminal".The bitmap library registered in the previous version of GTWIN cannot be used in the initial state after installation.Copy the "***.bml" file to the folder currently used(*) from the previous storage location.

The folder currently used can be confirmed by choosing "File" > "Configuration" > "GTWIN Configuration" > "Drive" > "BMP Library".
(The default is "C:\program files\panasonic-id sunx terminal\gtwin".)

About verify

"NG" may be displayed when the GT transferred with the GTWIN before upgrade is verified with the upgraded GTWIN. Transfer all data again with the upgraded GTWIN before performing verify.
