Corona discharge
A phenomenon that occurs when a high voltage is applied to a localized area like a needle tip, and electric discharge occurs toward the ground.
In a dark room, a watery light (pale light) can be observed. Ionizers remove static electricity by irradiating ions created as a result of the corona discharge intentionally produced using this principle.
