Features

1.Easy Wire-Saving Expansion

Eliminate excess wiring by using up to seven expansion units to add-on the required number of CT inputs for your application.

2.Quick initial setting via USB

The unit can be connected to a PC via USB. KW Monitor, an operation setting and check tool, allows you to perform initial setting and operation check of KW2G on site, reducing the time required for startup.


*KW Monitor can store the setting value of KW2G series.
(Available only for USB communication)

3.Quick installation

The units fit DIN rails.

4.A variety of measurements are possible.

  • Capable of simultaneously measuring the electric power and pulse input (e.g. flow amount)
  • Measurement of inverter power supplies (primary side) is also available.

5.Connectable to various sensors as well as electric power

Air/water consumption, temperature, humidity, illumination and other environmental conditions can be monitored by using expansion units for pulse/analog input.

6.You can get pulse output from each measurement circuit

Main unit and expansion unit (AKW2160GB) can be used to monitor integrated electric power value according to measured power or to issue alarms from pulse output, and can be controlled by PLC or other host system.
Using pulse output it is easy to connect to other companies' equipment with pulse input functions.

1. Turn on the register of KW1M-H demand alarm.
2. DLL detects the flag.
3. DLL turns on the register of KW2G/KW2G-H general-purpose output.
4. KW2G/KW2G-H turns on the demand alarm with control output.

1. Turn on the register of KW1M-H demand alarm.
2. DLL detects the flag.
3. DLL turns on the register of KW2G/KW2G-H general-purpose output.

Application for One-shot output : Light fixture control from host PC
1. Write a flag corresponding to KW2G/KW2G-H general-purpose output into DLL from host PC.
2. DLL write ON/OFF into the register of KW2G/KW2G-H general-purpose output.
3. With KW2G/KW2G-H control output, the light fixture can be controlled by local remote.
